Mercy cares for local students

We would like to acknowledge the Mercy Foundation for their continuous help to Glendale Schools. Mercy Foundation gives us Payless Shoes gift cards to be used to purchase shoes for kids. There are about 40 students a year who write "thank you"s to Mercy for their new shoes.

Personal care products and head lice shampoo are also donated by Mercy Foundation. Parents have not always budgeted for their child to get lice and, in the past, the student might be absent for several days or weeks, because the parents could not afford to buy the treatment. Having the shampoo available has really helped keep our students in class.

Thank you on behalf of the Glendale School District staff, parents and most of all, the children. Mercy Foundation is a lifesaver for our students.
