Learning Child gets supplies

The Learning Child Committee of Mercy Foundation recently distributed hygiene supplies to all 13 school districts In Douglas County. On behalf of the Learning Child Committee, we would like to thank the Wolf Creek Job Corps students who helped with distribution of hygiene supplies to all 48 schools.

Bryce Lehew, Daniel Hausrath and Clyde Lee volunteered a day of their time to help unload, organize and assemble the various hygiene supplies to be delivered to the schools. Their enthusiasm, reliability and sheer strength made it possible for the committee to complete this project. We also thank the Dollar Store for working with us in obtaining supplies, the Douglas County ESD for delivering these Items and Mercy Foundation for providing financial assistance. Because of all of you who generously participated or provided funds, many students in Douglas County have received much-needed hygiene supplies to help ease their lives.
