Douglas Community Fund Aids 28 Local Nonprofits

On May 20, 2008, the Douglas Community Foundation awarded Mercy Foundation $5,000 for the purchase of a new infant hearing screener for Mercy Medical Center's Family BirthPlace. The fund also awarded grants ranging from $1,000 to $8,000 to 27 other local nonprofits and educational institutions ranging from schools to agencies that serve seniors, children, the disabled and the homeless
