School thanks nurse, Mercy

The Oakland Elementary staff thanks the Mercy Foundation and its donors for their dedication to serving Douglas County's children through the Healthy Kids Outreach Program. This program provides consistent delivery of health-related services and resources for our students and their families.

We would specifically like to acknowledge the contributions of Health Resource Nurse, Mary Berch. We appreciate Mary's deep devotion to instill healthy habits in children. Oakland Elementary students benefit from Mary's expertise in delivering health lessons through hands-on experience. The topics presented are embedded in the existing health curriculum and are relevant to students' lives.
