The News Review
Tiller teachers thank Mercy
The teachers and staff at Tiller Elementary School thank the
Mercy Foundation for their strong commitment to bettering the
lives of our students.
Trina Gwaltney, of Mercy Foundation, serves as school nurse and
teaches health to our students. She also connects us to resources
within our community when a student needs an eye exam, hearing
test or any other medical need.
Weve been fortunate to receive from the Mercy Foundation
many personal hygiene supplies, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste,
soap and deodorant. In recent years weve received funds
to buy a washer and dryer, and install a shower.
New shoes for students who need them have also come to us through
Mercy Foundation.
This community outreach is very important and greatly appreciated
by Tiller Elementary students, staff, and the people in our community.
We sincerely hope funding will continue to support the Mercy Foundation.
