Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 - Silverbell Luncheon
- 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This is a fun event which kicks
off the Festival of Trees. A mini-Gala, this event sells
out quickly. Tickets go on sale November 2 at Carter
Andersen State Farm Insurance in Myrtle Creek or Macy's
in the Roseburg Valley Mall. Please call Mercy Foundation

Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010 - Senior Day -
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A day set aside for our Senior community
members to view the trees, purchase a handcrafted gift item,
and possibly win a door prize. Admission is $1.00 per person
and includes refreshments.
Friday, Dec. 3, 2010- Gala Evening and Auction
- 5:30 to 10 p.m. The highlight of the evening
is the auctioning of beautiful holiday trees and the gifts
that go with them. Also included is a buffet dinner, silent
auction, entertainment. Please call Mercy Foundation at
541-677-4818 to reserve your tickets or a table for10. This
event is sponsored by Umpqua
Bank.
Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010- Safari Picnic Adventures
- 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12 to 1:30 p.m. This
is an exciting and fun-filled event for 300 children ages
3-9. The kids bring their favorite stuffed animal for that
special check-up by student nurses. They get to be creative
in the Arts & Crafts Booth, eat a sack lunch while watching
a live animal show from Wildlife Safari, and talk with Santa
to tell him what is on their wish list. Tickets go on sale
November 1 at Carter Andersen State Farm Insurance in Myrtle
Creek and Roseburg Book and Stationery. $5 per child. Must
be accompanied by an adult. This event is sponsored by
SAM 104.5 and KMTR.
Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010- Night of Miracles -
6 p.m. to Midnight. This is an evening set aside for Mercy
and Umpqua Bank employees, their family and friends; volunteers;
and physicians and staff. The Night of Miracles features
a small live auction, raffles, games and entertainment.
It is an entertaining event where the attendees can kick
off their shoes to dance the night away while raising money
for a great cause.
Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010- Family Day - 11 a.m.
to 4 p.m. This is an inexpensive public event to end the
week's festivities. While Mom and Dad are viewing the trees
and all they have to offer, the kids can participate in
many free activities. The family can then join together
for refreshments while watching one of the many and varied
entertainers on the stage. Families can attend for
as little as $2.50 per family or $1 per person. This
event is sponsored by KPIC
and The News-Review.
